Equipping for the World the Research Describes

The trends pages explain what's happening. This path is about what to do with that knowledge — when you're the one signing the lease, raising the kid, choosing the city, betting on the career, or rebuilding belonging from scratch. Less information dump. More equipment.

Six topics. Each one a reflective essay grounded in the underlying research, followed by a working toolkit — decision trees, audits, scripts, trade-off matrices. All six are now live.

You don't get to opt out of the world the research describes. You only get to decide how well-equipped you are when you walk into it.
    How This Works

Each topic opens with a reflection — and closes with tools.

Every page on this path follows the same shape: a short, honest framing of the situation (drawn from the underlying research), followed by the concrete equipment — decision trees, checklists, scripts, trade-off matrices, questions worth sitting with before you act.

No life hacks. No five-step certainty. Just the frameworks I'd want in my own hands when the choice is mine.

    Why This Exists

    The diagnosis isn't enough.

The trend pages on this site are honest about what's hard. The affordability crunch is real. The loneliness numbers are real. The geography fracture, the credential collapse, the attention economy pressure on kids — all real. Reading about them without a way to act on them mostly produces anxiety dressed up as awareness.

This path exists because the people I most want to reach aren't asking what's the macro picture? They're asking what do I do about my macro picture? Different question. Deserves its own answer.

The goal here isn't to tell anyone what to choose. It's to make sure no one walks into the choice unequipped.

Start with the research that grounds it.

The toolkits draw directly from the trends, the cohort work, and the structural pieces. If you want the diagnostic layer first, start there.
